The Experience: The trail is a journey through a magnificent gorge carved by Old Man's Creek. The 1-mile loop is divided into five principal sections: Upper Falls, Upper Gorge, Middle Falls, Lower Falls, and Lower Gorge.
The Iconic Feature: The Devil's Bathtub is a unique, bowl-shaped basin carved into the sandstone by the constant swirling of water, creating a mesmerizing whirlpool effect just above the Lower Falls. You'll also cross the picturesque A-Frame Bridge.
The History: The area is named for hermit Richard Rowe, who lived in the large recess cave here in the 19th century.
